Since Monday was a holiday, my head was not thinking about a blog post. But I’m back in the groove after a long weekend!
Memorial Day was spent with my parents, cooking out and watching Hacksaw Ridge. My parents really enjoy it and it was my first time watching. So many in my family have served, and I'm beyond grateful for their sacrifice. My Marine dad did two tours in Vietnam. Today's quote (paired with a pic from our Pearl Harbor visit) is dedicated to all who've protected our freedoms. 🇺🇸
“The mystic cords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone, all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the angels of our nature.”
